Cognos Migrations:

Retail: Our customer, with over $1B in revenues and 1000 Cognos reports, working in partnership with Peritas Solutions, was able to efficiently migrate its legacy IBM Cognos deployment to the latest version of IBM Cognos in under 8 weeks, completing the project under budget and on time.

Manufacturing: With a challenge of migrating 1100 Cognos reports spanning public and user folders within an aggressive timeline, Peritas Solutions developed a plan and successfully migrated the 1100 reports in 3 weeks on time and under budget.

Solutions:

Mining: Our customer is the largest single source producer in Canada, and one of the largest in the world. Since 2001, they have teamed up with Peritas Solutions to develop performance management solutions around financial and operational reporting, maintenance tracking, HR statistics, and cost analytics. Successful projects on time and on budget, combined with measureable ROI have continued to strengthen the partnership with Peritas Solutions.

Wholesale Distribution: Working closely with the business, Peritas Solutions effectively implemented a financial data mart and reporting solution. Data was extracted from JD Edwards and loaded into a DB2 data mart, and then reported using IBM Cognos Report Studio and Analysis Studio. The project was completed on budget and on time.

Retail: Working in partnership with our client who required greater visibility into daily sales, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators, Peritas Solutions developed an integrated solution linking a Flash P&L, an interactive sales dashboard, and a financial scorecard.
