Open Position : ONTARIO Sales & Client Executive

This position is a senior sales and account executive role.  The role is the lead position in Peritas’ Ontario Account Management team.

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for but not limited to:

  1. Perform lead generation, prospecting and other activities designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  2. Plan and carry out direct marketing, customer facing and web activities (such as lunch & learn and breakfast events, WebEx information sessions) to targeted audiences within the agreed budgets, and timeframe.
  3. Work in partnership with the IBM marketing team on joint marketing events
  4. In conjunction with our 3rd party web design company; manage the Peritas website content and enhance the current site to provide additional sales leads.
  5. Develop an electronic marketing plan leveraging the use of electronic media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, etc to generate additional sales leads.
  6. Identify and develop potential alliance partnerships and seek out new market and services growth areas.
  7. Carry out customer surveys to generate leads.
  8. Maintain customer and prospect CRM database (salesforce.com).

This position can be a shared Toronto office/home office location.  Remuneration is based on a flexible combination of salary and incentive income. Sales and marketing experience is required as well as IT knowledge with Performance Management/Business Intelligence experience an added plus. Open Position: Senior BI Architect

We require intermediate/senior Cognos8 Architect or Developers for consulting work in Western Canada. Responsibilities include BI Architecture, Report development, Metadata development, ETL development

Required Skills:

Experience and knowledge of IBM COGNOS tools or similar tool set:

• C8 Report Studio
• C8 Query Studio
• C8 Framework Manager
• C8 Transformer & Cube Technology
• C8 Data Manager (or other ETL tools)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years prior experience in data warehouse/BI or related IT industry experience
  • 3+ years prior experience with the Cognos BI tools.
  • Cognos training or certification a plus
  • Business or IT degree
  • Data modeling and star schema design experience

Open Position : Cognos Planning & Controller Consultant

The position is responsible for delivering business focused and technology enabled, integrated Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation and Analysis solutions for our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Formulate financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies
•    Coordinate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
•    Develop design documentation
•    Configure, design and develop planning models
•    Develop statements of work and/or client proposals
•    Define, develop, and document business and systems requirements
•    Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
•    Understand the business context of the engagement

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience implementing one or more of the following technologies:
    • Cognos TM1, Planning and/or Controller, or other Financial Planning & Budgeting applications (Hyperion, Oracle, Outlooksoft)
  • BBA/BA/BS degree required
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement analysis, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately model the financial aspects and outcomes of business issues using spreadsheets and/or other applicable tools
  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
  • A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team
  • Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries while further developing your career
  • Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel
